Micky Donnelly has had numerous articles and reviews published in Northern Lights, Art About Ireland, and Circa art magazine.
He has also written several catalogue introductions for solo and group exhibitions around Ireland.
His first novel, Doubletime, was published by Blackstaff Press in 2001.
He is working intermittently on his second novel.

Doubletime was selected by the British Council to represent Britain at the European Festival of The First Novel in Budapest, April 2003, and has since been published in Hungarian by Noran Press, and in German by Edition Nautilus.
